#MCON IS BACK!

Derrick Feldmann • Mar 03, 2016
Looking back, I honestly can’t believe how much has happened since MCON’s debut. Five years ago our team set out to connect a community of thought leaders who were interested in social change and driven to turn their interest into action. In 2015, 20,000 of you joined us online while 300 of you attended in-person. You were a national trend on Twitter on both days, 89.2 million timeline deliveries and 78.1 million media impressions.

Your passion has transformed MCON from a conference into a movement.

Your passion inspires us, and that’s why we’re enhancing YOUR MCON 2016 experience. MCON will now take place over three days and feature incredible speakers, can’t-miss parties and a political townhall so you can continue the conversation.

Oh yeah, and there’s a pretty important election taking place in 2016. So with that in mind, our team thought: What better location for MCON than the campus of National Geographic in Washington, DC?

Our nation’s capital is a unique political backdrop that has long informed and shaped our social movements and culture. At the campus of National Geographic, everyone is invited to experience MCON through the lens of exploration – dynamic speakers, interactive learning experiences, human emotion and accomplishment, and award-winning films.

Whether a student, entrepreneur, businessperson, filmmaker, fashion designer or artist, or simply a person with a curious and caring mind – and whether attending in person or online – MCON attendees receive a platform for using creativity to spark action.

Register now to guarantee your seating and take advantage of our discounted early in-person registration rates.
