Established in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2001, Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) is a nonprofit, public-access education center; an art gallery; a state-of-the-art glass studio; a community builder; and a hub for innovation and creativity. The center educates over 25,000 people annually through events, exhibitions, demonstrations, classes and residencies.

The website contains hundreds of pages of content and features a seamless integration with their learning management system (LMS) where visitors can search and browse through the more than 100 courses offered each term. Achieve’s team of designers and developers were able to deliver a seamless transition and from the website to the classroom management system allowing users to register and pay for classes, rent studio space and manage their accounts online.

The project began with a comprehensive discovery and analysis phase. Small group and 1-on-1 Interviews were conducted with key stakeholders to solicit input. An in depth site audit was performed that included full site content analysis, a thorough review of site analytics, heat maps, social media channels and a competitive assessment.

The result is a dramatic and engaging website that uses modern video and animation effects to bring the center’s story to life.
